Today my friend and I went up to Main St in Unionville. It's so uber cute! It's like a little village in the city and very relaxing. We walked along the small street that had a few boutiques here and there and we passed a store that had macarons but I forgot to get some *sad panda* Maybe we'll be able to go back sometime.. it really is a nice change of scenery (: We then walked around the pond and settled on a bench. It was a pleasant afternoon spent in the outdoors. Today, it was EXTREMELY hot.. it's only May but it felt like it was the middle of August or something. The weather network said that it was supposed to feel like 41 Celsius and boy.. did it! I felt like I was dying in the scorching heat! I'm also not fond of all the mosquito bites I got.. 18 to be exact :( How did you spend your day?
She is..

Icky, Sicky, Lil'ol'me
Yes, I'm sick. Actually, it's more so my throat that's killing me and a REALLY annoying dry cough. It's been about a week now and I should probably see a doctor but I'm too lazy to book an appointment and it's such a hassle. Did I mention that I'm also against cold medicine? I think they're placebos so I like to suffer sans drogues. I'm actually pretty ridiculous when it comes to sicknesses.. I think everything is a placebo haha. I'm a very skeptical person (: Hopefully it blows over soon though.. I'm tired of hacking and coughing like I'm a chronic smoker or something (which I'm not because smoking is gross) Anyways, not much has been going on. Just been working..*nothing to report there* work is always the same.. I should probably look for another job closer to home :S Travelling is kind of a nuisance.. wish me well? (:

Current Obsessions
Hello! Been a bit MIA I know. . ANYWAYS I have a few things I'm currently obsessed with. . Of course there's the usual, lace and Hello Kitty but lately I've been into feather earrings, those puffy fox tail things and Fred Perry. Oh, and orange/coral lipstick! I never considered orange to even be an option for lips but Jen (@Frmheadtotoe) has definitely changed my views. You should check out her YT channel too, Jen@Youtube She is honestly the SWEETEST YT beauty guru IMO (:

How do you know?
Alright, this question has been bothering me for quite some time now. What is a "date"? I understand that when a guy asks a girl out or vice versa it's considered a date but under what circumstances? I mean, what if it's just hanging out? How do you know? I've asked this question to my friends and they argue that if the guy pays, it's a date. To me, it's a bit odd. I don't like guys paying for my stuff so is offering the same deal? If he offers to pay, is it a date? Or does he HAVE to pay? What if you go out and there's no paying required? (I really don't know when this would come into play seeing as everything requires money nowadays) What if you just met up at a park and talked? Considered a date? I think the safe bet is just to assume it's "hanging out"; I'll stick with that. (:

Can you guess?
Can you guess what my favourite flower is? Here's a hint.. or maybe 7..
Just in case you still don't know what flowers those are; they're ORCHIDS. MY ABSOLUTE most favourite flower, EVER I never noticed that they sort of have the same centre as a dragon snap :S If you have no idea what a dragon snapper is, here's a look
Okay, I really couldn't find a nice picture of a dragon snapper.. to be honest.. maybe they're not even called dragon snappers :S That's what I always thought they were called..anyone know? But yes, the centre of them look somewhat similar.. are they apart of the same "family"?

Falling out
People change, grow, mature, and friendships do the same. You meet, you grow, you mature and you change. The friendship can grow slowly or you may instantly click and become best friends. But eventually, some friendships just fall apart. Like every other relationship, like anything in life, there's a "falling out". It's not that you don't like the person anymore (okay maybe it's partly because of that) people just change, or maybe you just couldn't see before. You got to know them, for who they really were. You got to see them "comfortable". They no longer put a barrier up or filter everything they say. They are not constantly trying to win your approval because they feel "comfortable". You begin to see all the flaws in the friendship. All the holes and imperfections. You realize that it's not a give and take but more of a one sided take take take. And when you feel like you're not benefiting from something -- a game, business transaction, or in this case, the friendship; you'll want to end it. It's as simple as that. It's bound to happen, sooner or later. Sometimes it's better to end things sooner rather than later. When there's still some salvation left in the friendship; instead of waiting for it to come to the point where you hate the other person. How would you do it though? How do you "end" a friendship? In a relationship, you break up with the other person. You "let them go". You say "we need to talk". You say you "love them but.." How do you "break up" with a friend? Do you tell them? Do you try to talk it out? Is it just a rough patch in your friendship? Something that can be worked on? I feel that most people don't do anything. They let the friendship fade. They stop talking. Stop trying to initiate contact. Stop making plans. They just stop. Like everything comes to a halt and the other person no longer exists. Like they were never friends. Even some friends that you thought you'd be friends with forever, are no longer apart of your life. It's just life. People walk in and out of your life. The only person you can truly count on is yourself. There will always be people that will let you down; even those you thought never would. It's inevitable. So like every relationship, whether it be romantic or not; there is bound to be an end and you just need to appreciate it, as is [in the moment].

Moving on. .
Lately, I've been having butterflies and smiling a lot and thinking about him and wondering what he's doing. Lately, I've been happy. I feel like I'm now ready to move on with my life. I need to move on with my life. I'm excited to move on with my life. It's been a long time coming and I think I'm finally ready to take a leap of faith into the arms of someone else. It's been years of coping with loss and trying to find myself. I've learned a lot about myself and a lot about the people around me. I've learned much from my fall and I can gladly say that I'm now back up on my feet. I am in a good place right now and am able to let someone else in. There will always be a part of me that holds on to the past but I can't let it ruin my future; I won't. So cheers to my last and hello to the next (hopefully) It's on to the next one (:

Sakura
I went to high park yesterday because I had heard that the cherry blossom trees had bloomed! I love cherry blossoms, they are just SO pretty! Of course, I wish they were more pink instead of just white.. but *Sigh* what can you do? If you live around the area (or can commute) I suggest you hurry up and go see them before they're gone! They don't last very long.. Even on a Wednesday afternoon it was pretty busy in the park (especially in the cherry blossom tree area) If you don't know how to get there, just go to high park station, exit and walk into the park. There are a few when you walk a bit into the park but if you venture in a little further (down the path that the trackless train runs on) there's a whole bunch of the lovely trees there. Hope you will go see them and take some snapshots! I will insert some now (:

Cold or Allergies?
I've been feeling a bit *bleh* lately.. I'm not sure if I'm sick or if they're "allergies" I have never had allergies in my life *maybe I have but just never knew?* I really don't know. What's the difference between a cold and allergies? I tried looking it up on google (because I'm a google whore) but results were.. wishy washy to say the least.. Oh, it's mother's day btw! My sister got my mum a lawn mower.. like really?! ugh. I always have the strange urge to always top gifts haha it's terrible. I'm still deciding on what to get my mum even though mother's day will be over in like 2 hours and a bit but better late than never.. right? Any suggestions? What did you get your mums? Leave a comment? *no one ever dones* :(

The sun is out!
It's a beautiful day here in Canada! The sun is shining and it's a nice temperature! Oh, how I love when the days are just perfect! hehe (: I was going to go to IKEA today to pick up some storage for my make up but my boss asked me to work so I cancelled my IKEA plans and am now waiting to go to work. I wish today was May 6.. so I could grab a half priced frapp on my way to work :( I just might grab one anyways because it's SO nice out! If you are confused as to what I'm talking about then you musn't know.. Starbucks in Canada has brought back half-priced frapps for a limited time! From May 6-15, you can get half-priced frappuccinos! ITS AMAZING. So, I recommend you get on that! Also, if you're looking for a new flavour to try, might I suggest a soy tazo chai frapp? DONT FORGET THE WHIP! Let me know if you try it and tell me how amazing you think it is (:

Post Exams!
Hello lovely readers!
I am back. It's been quite a while since my last post! Since the end of exams, I've been quite busy trying to catch up with my friends and getting reacquainted with my bed (: Let's see.. a run through of what I did in the past few days! Wednesday, I went to a pub called "Imperial pub" with my friends, had a drink there, then went to "Wild Wings" because we were starving! Wild wings.. is THE BEST (just throwing that out there) then we went to "Elephant and Castle" and had some more drinks there and that about wraps up Wednesday. Thursday, I met up with a different group of friends and we went to D&B (Dave and Busters) for anyone who doesn't know what D&B is.. it's basically the adult version of "Chuckie Cheese" So my friends and I had dinner there and then played a whole bunch of games (mainly the ones that gave lots of tickets because we wanted to win prizes (hehe). After that, we did a McDonalds ice cream run because we were craving something sweet and we forgot to get dessert at D&B and that wraps up Thursday night! Friday, another group of friends and I went to the club (Embassy). It was fun but super tiring! Why do heels have to hurt so much?! :( I met a boy at the club whom I danced with (I'd say) a good portion of the night.. but I feel like it was all a dream because I have NO indication of his existence what so ever! *yes, I tried to look for him on fb* Though, going on just a first name is VERY hard. He did ask for my number though, so let's hope he calls or texts! *Will try to update you* And after the club, my friends and I struggled to walk home in our heels.. though one of our crazy friends decided to take hers off and ended up walking barefoot home.. LOL And then there was Saturday. I convinced my friends to go with me to the scavenger hunt held by improv Toronto and I must say, I got super worked up! I was so concentrated on winning and getting all the items on the list but some of my friends weren't so into it. Regardless, we had a fun time and we came up with a really funny team name (slow-slow go-go) If you want it explained, you'll need to ask in the comments (: Well, that was my eventful week! More fun times to come! *Wow, this has been quite the long post* Til next time! Be safe.
